圓錐式破碎機可對中等以上硬度的物料進行破碎，有著非常廣泛的用途，每種型號都有多種破碎腔型進行選擇。通過選擇不同的破碎腔型及偏心距，方便地滿足了不同的生產需求。一般來講，標準型適用于中破：中型適用于細破：短頭型適用于粗細破。而當與顎式破碎機配合使用時，可作為二級破碎或三級、四級的破碎。同時由于其內在的靈活性，圓錐破碎機將能在不斷變化的未來中應付大多數的生產需求。

彈簧圓錐式破碎機工作原理：
圓錐破碎機工作時，電動機的旋轉通過皮帶輪或聯軸器、圓錐破碎機 傳動軸和 圓錐破碎機 圓錐部在偏心 套的迫動下繞一周固定點作旋擺運動。從而使破碎圓錐的破碎壁時而靠近又時而離開固裝在調整套上的軋臼壁表面，使礦石在破碎腔內不斷受到沖擊，擠壓和彎曲作用而實現礦石的破碎。電動機通過傘齒輪驅動偏心套轉動，使破碎錐作旋擺運動。破碎錐時而靠近又時而離開固定錐，完成破碎和排料。支撐套與架體連接處靠彈簧壓緊，當破碎機內落入金屬塊等不可破碎物體時，彈簧即產生壓縮變形，排出異物，實現保險，防止機器損壞。
